Coastal Investment Company hosts private event at The Boca Raton’s iconic MB Supper Club to announce opportunistic $50MM Real Estate fund launch.
On Wednesday, October 18th, Coastal Investment Company, a private real estate investment firm hosted an exclusive private event to announce their newest $50MM opportunistic fund. The show took place at the iconic MB Supper Club located in The Boca Raton hotel, located at 501 East Camino Real, Boca Raton, Florida 33432. The guest list included the Coastal executive leadership team, their advisors, the CEO of Madison Capital Group, many of Coastal’s current investors and prospective investors who have been waiting for the fund to open.
The CEO of Madison Capital Group, Ryan Hanks, based out of Charlotte, NC and the CEO of Coastal Investment Company, Greg Meerbaum, shared their plan to deploy the capital of the $50MM fund into opportunistic real estate consisting of multifamily development projects, self-storage, boat & RV storage, essential retail and gas station/convenience stores.
“As interest rates have continued to rise over the last 18 or so months, many developers who are not well capitalized have been struggling to get projects off the ground. It’s created an opportunistic acquisition and development strategy for us to capitalize on with our partner, Madison Capital Group. The time has come to start to deploy capital as it seems we might be at the peak of interest rate hikes.” Said Greg Meerbaum, Coastal CEO.
